Cullen Bohannon (Anson Mount) is a former Confederate soldier who’s trying to leave his past behind. AMC is hoping that viewers won’t leave Hell on Wheels behind and the TV series will still bring solid ratings so that they won’t have to cancel it.
The current cast of this gritty drama also includes Ben Esler, Colm Meaney, Common, Dominique McElligott, Eddie Spears, Philip Burke, and Robin McLeavy.
Below are the most recent ratings for Hell on Wheels on AMC. The second season airs on Sunday nights. There are 10 episodes once again.

What you guys are waiting fot to renew this awesome show?
Move your asses and start the third season hurry! 😉
Can’t wait fot this anymore!
I just discovered Hell on Wheels on Netflix yesterday. The historical story line drew me in and I fell in love within a few minutes of the Pilot. Devoured all 10 episodes in about 24 hours and now I am desperate to get my hands on Season 2. Please, please tell me there will be a Season 3 because I can’t end Season 2 with this unquenchable thirst for MORE knowing there won’t be anymore. Best show on TV, seriously. Until they start making more like this, by all means, don’t keep Cullen and Elam and all the others from… Read more »
Love the show…i look forward to many years of it.
What attracted me to the show was the authenticity. I looked forward to a new season. I loved it. So many people I mentioned the show to said what show???? If more people saw the show I’m sure the rating would go through the roof.! Maybe alittle humor would be nice.
I agree! If the ratings are low I think it has to be due to the fact that too few people know about it. Hardly anyone I know has seen it before. There has to be a way to spread the word and keep this show around for many for more years!
It’s one of the best series I’ve seen lately on television ! From every aspect , I. Would like to congratulate all that made this extraordinary series possible . Yes ! I would like to see a ” season 3 ” as long as the show maintains it’s quality , as it has done so far.. A little bit of more advertising from all of us , would certainly help ! I wish to all my best , and that soon we will have news of a third season ! Good Luck . Marie Kasimatis . Arizona USA
My favorite show on television right now. Please have a third season and bring back Lilly Bell. I love all the characters and I love hating the Swede – what a great character. I have a lot of family and friends who watch it too so please make sure there are many more seasons!!!!!!!!!!!
LOVE Hell on Wheeles! Please don’t cancel it. Kill off the Norwegian and bring back Lilly Bell.
Why did Lilly had to go this just really sucks…. but cant wait to see how cullen going to handle the railroad now.
please dont cancel this series me and my teammates all watch it we hope there is a third season.
Please don’t cancel this show. I love the story line and characters.
The story uses grown-ups. I haven’t seen any whiny, self-important, incompetent teenies yet but the producers would if they could find a place. This is why AMC dramas have worked. Even the Walking Dead has the kid attempting to act as an adult. It’s fun to watch something not made for 13-year old boys (comic book, fantasy, etc.) or 16-year old girls like a majority of prime time.
I certainly agree with you ! You are right ! And it is also for grown ups….! Love& Peace. Marie
My BF and I love this show. Please don’t cancel there isn’t anything out like it which gives you a great opportunity to continue the series.
Please renew for third season. We love the show
Great Show! ***** Great action, and Strong storyline! Each episode just draws you in more & more! Making the anticipation for the next episode, even more exciting!
YES Hell on Wheels needs to continue, but WITHOUT that creepy Swede puke – let the carp EAT him, if not the wolves; and what in the world were they thinking, killing Lilly Bell? Maybe she just fell into a deep, deep coma? PLEASE have her return, otherwise, I don’t see the point. Cullen has had enough tragedy, losing his first wife in the war. Just sayin’………….
