In March, VH1 renewed their low-rated comedy Hindsight for a second season. Now, the cable channel is reversing their decision and have cancelled the show instead. The move is likely due to a change in management at VH1.
“Scripted series have been a successful part of VH1’s primetime line-up since 2010 and will continue to be in the future,” VH1 said in a statement to Deadline. “We love Hindsight and couldn’t be more proud of the series. But in this overcrowded and rapidly changing climate, we need to carve out VH1’s distinct place in the scripted marketplace and deliver the biggest audiences possible for our series. As a result, we’re no longer moving forward with a second season of the show. We’re so appreciative of show creator Emily Fox, the cast, and the creative and production teams and look forward to working with them again.”
Word is that the producers of Hindsight are looking for a new home for the series and are having converations with streaming services and othe platforms.
What do you think? Do you like the Hindsight series? Do you think that VH1 should have cancelled it? Would you watch season two elsewhere?

I’m super depressed about Hindsight being cancelled!! I kept waiting for it to come back, just finally found this saying it’s cancelled. Such a great show and cast!!!
This is an excellent show!!! Many think it is still renewing!!! Better advertisement is needed to make folks aware of the show.
I love Hindsight. I am still upset that it was cancelled.
I LOVE HINDSIGHT. BRING IT BACK. PLLEAASSEEE
I would be ecstatically happy with the network that would pick this show up. I hope it happens. This show deserves more! I, as a fan, deserve more!
I hope HIndsight gets picked up by another network. I’m 52 and watched with my 20 year old daughter and we both loved it. I really cant believe the show was cancelled. I think the story was a great idea and maybe the show wasn’t advertised enough.
I am 60 and my daughter is 35. We both loved looked forward to each episode. I hate to see it cancelled.
