What’s This TV Show About?
A Showtime comedy-drama, I’m Dying Up Here stars Melissa Leo, Ari Graynor, Michael Angarano, Clark Duke, Andrew Santino, Erik Griffin, RJ Cyler, Al Madrigal, and Jon Daly. The story centers on the regular performers at Goldie’s comedy club, owned by Goldie Herschlag (Leo). She is as tough as it takes to be successful in this business, for the sake of her club and her comedians. While the first season focused on landing a big gig like Carson, season two explores what comes next.
Season Two Ratings

This is one of the best written and acted shows on TV. Please renew for season 3 and find a way to promote it.
This show is really very good Excellent job evoking that 70’s feel and really captures the way comedy was bck then! PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE renew!!!!!!
I’m hoping that it comes back for season 3. I’m also hoping that someone comes in and saves Ron in time. It’s rare to have such chemistry in a cast. There wasn’t one bad episode and that, in it self, is a testament to the writers and cast.
I love this show so much. The flame of stand-up burns at various levels for so many. I have marveled at the ways the characters have been developed. I can’t tell you how I have looked fwd to every episode. This show for me is every bit as compelling as Sons of Anarchy and ER. I am hopeful that the writers are ready with an exciting vision for all the remaining characters. The writing and acting on this show places it firmly in the top 10 percent of the best shows on cable right now. Showtime’s done a lousy job of promoting it. It deserves a wider audience and a third season.
Please please please renew for third season. We love the era, the characters, subject and the writing, acting and character development is brilliant.

I really think it should be renewed for another season. Season 3 will have so much potential judging by how the season 2 finale closed out. I live the decade, music and whole vibe of that decade, so I am definitely in for however long this well written show is on…

I’m Dying Up Here is one of the best acted, best written shows on television. It would be ashame if it were not renewed. Ari Graynor is going tobe a star, period.
Great show, drama, comedy, real life characters and situations. Hope it gets renewed for the third season.
I just watched the season finale and this was some of the best writing and acting I have ever seen in my life. (We even joined showtime tonight specifically so we could watch it!!) PLEASE RENEW!!! The world needs quality, brilliant content and storytelling such as this right now.

I haven’t watched the show, but it’ll likely be cancelled. It has horrible retention and it’s ratings are still bad. Sorry to the fans.
