Word is circulating today that Legend of the Seeker has been cancelled after two seasons. There hasn’t been an official announcement yet but it doesn’t look like there will be a third season.
Legend of the Seeker is a fantasy series about a young woodsman (Craig Horner) who discovers he is actually destined to be a heroic Seeker. The series also stars Bridget Regan, Bruce Spence, Craig Parker, and Kevin J. Wilson.
Things haven’t been looking so good for the syndicated series for awhile. The ratings had dropped and, last month, the Tribune company (which owns a lot of local stations that air LOS) decided not to pick it up for a third year.
ABC Studios and show producers said that the show had not being cancelled yet and that the studio was searching for other local stations to fill in for the Tribune stations.
There had been unofficial word that that process was going well. However, now it seems that ABC couldn’t find enough takers for LOS.
Sad as this news might be, it doesn’t come as a big surprise. The season’s viewership started at about 2.5 million in November and the April 10th episode barely brought in two million. That’s not an attractive trend for a new buyers.
Hopefully, the producers will be able to include some degree of closure to the final episode.

Gutted. Everything there’s a good fantasy of American show like “the unit” it stops. If you showed them to the UK too it will up your ratings. LOS was a really good series. Hope someone buys it soon.
LOS made a mistake going with ABC. They would have a lot more viewers on a different channel. And at a good time. And maybe even air in UK. Fantasy does good in UK also it seems. I know MERLIN did good. Just have to be smart with fantasy I feel. And look for the right “crowd”. LOS would look great now for sure(2017).
I can’t believe there isn’t going to be a season 3 of legend of the seeker such a great story line the cast is great and you’ve left it on a right cliff hanger going to do peoples heads in when we don’t know what going to happen with darken rahl and these plan he got for nicci
They soul not cancel this show at least give us one more season

First time I saw legend of the seeker was on UK Netflix. I hope netflixs takes on season 3! This series didn’t get the coverage it deserved. I’m rewatching the season 1&2 again now! Such a good story! The cast was perfect. If more people knew about the show I’m sure it wouldn’t have been cancelled.

My sister showed me the first episode of the first season and I couldn’t quit watching. Then I was disapointed to find out there is no season three. Their are thousands of fans still out there and you still haven’t found a way to show season three. Please try harder…..
I love legend of the seeker
Legend Of the seeker is to me an extraordinary series. I Love it so much and I and My siblings Think it’s the best we have ever watched, But without a season three we think the whole film wasn’t worth it in the first place.

Yes I am sorry to hear “the ledgen of the seeker”, will not have a third season. There are so man stuid and dumb comedy shows (South park, The Simsons ) out there these days that it hardly seems worth watching T.V. anymore. Ledgen of the seeker was totally different and entertaining, like Merlin and Once opon a time series. and Longmire. Mystical and amusing at times. all the way from african where i live.alot of people love this series of legend of the seeker.ABC STUDIOS shuld nt have cancelled it and any tv station that refused to buy it are dnt knw hw much they missed.movies lik VISITOR was used to replace LOS.wat a shame,5yrs av gone and we al ad our hopes.bt its ur loss.

Jeez! Finally a show that is cool to watch and poof! it is cancelled. Typical television. Junk like The Bachelor (who cares?) will go on and on and on and on and on and on (get it?) when well written and well acted stuff gets cut.
