What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, Lethal Weapon stars Damon Wayans, Clayne Crawford, Keesha Sharp, Kevin Rahm, Jordana Brewster, Johnathan Fernandez, Dante Brown, Chandler Kinney, and Michelle Mitchenor. The comedic buddy cop action drama centers on two very different cops working together on the streets of Los Angeles. While family man Roger Murtaugh (Wayans) has everything to live for, is there nothing Martin Riggs (Crawford) won’t sacrifice to avenge the loss of his own family? In season two, Murtaugh tries to support Riggs, while still keeping his own family in mind and trying to avoid the chaos his partner seems to seek.
Season One Ratings
The second season of Lethal Weapon averaged a 0.99 rating in the 18-49 viewer demographic and 4.11 million viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 37% in the demo and down by 37% in viewers. Learn how Lethal Weapon stacks up against the other FOX TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Will FOX cancel or renew Lethal Weapon for season three? The ratings are way down when compared to the first season’s numbers, likely because the series was moved to a new night and away from the network’s top-rated Empire series. For now, I think it will land a renewal, mostly because FOX has lots of other lower-rated shows. However, there have reportedly been some issues with Crawford so that could scuttle the renewal. I can’t believe the suits upstairs think they’re so smart they can just substitute another actor in this role: no one will take it now, it’s poison. Think of all that Charlie Sheen did and they fired Crawford for being overbearing??? And he’s apologized, so WTF. As far as the opinions of the rest of the cast, they’re not paid to have them. In fact, they’re all in a business where they have to pretend to kiss people they can’t stand and even pose half-nekked with them, so there’s no room for I-like-this-not-that. I love Lethal Weapon and hope their will be a season 3. I love Clayne Crawford and just watched the last episode and he got shot. I hope he doesn’t die in the next season. He makes the show!!
I love Lethal Weapon and look forward to season 3. I just watched Clayne Crawford get shot in the final episode. I love his acting..it is so real. I hope he doesn’t die off in this up coming season!! He makes the show worth watching.
IMO Ep22S2 made a spectacular, tear jerker of a finale to a show that had a throughly engaging cast of characters… That being said, I am personally pulling for Riggs to survive his injury & come back for another season.

Lethal Weapon is a great show! Why would you cancel it? And nobody can replace Clayne Crawford as Riggs….he needs to remain on the show! More Lethal Weapon!!!
I agree Dale. This is the best series from a movie I have ever seen. We were hooked from first episode mainly because Clayne Crawford is a better Riggs than Mel Gibson was.I will have to stop watching if they replace him and I think alot of people are going to be upset if they cancel or replace Crawford.Love Lethal Weapon just as it is and want more!!!!
Don’t cancel Lethal Weapon, at least one more season with a better ending than season 2
Please don’t cancel leather weapon. It’s one of the best shows on fox! Merta and Gibbs are great together!! It has a great combination, they make you laugh, cry, and the story lines a great! Roseann thank you
Please do not cancel Lethal Weapons. My wife & I think it’s a great show. Why is it everybody now a days are getting fired on show & when that happens it kills the show. I think Fox is doing a mistake.
This is one the best shows on in the evening and love the fact that Riggs is always creating exciting happenings!

This is the best show that’s on television right now. Keep it on I love this show. And I love Riggs do not kill him off. He makes the whole show
