New York, NY – May 21, 2019 – Oxygen, the destination for high-quality crime programming, investigates the jaw-dropping cases of murderous doctors, nurses and medical professionals in the new series, “License to Kill” premiering on Sunday, June 23 at 7pm ET/PT. Hosted by renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Terry Dubrow (“Botched”), the series chronicles the harrowing accounts of patients put into jeopardy by medical professionals’ insidious use of their expertise.
Told from the perspective of victims, families, colleagues and law enforcement, each episode of “License to Kill” exposes what happens when the hands that should heal are used to cause harm on patients at the most vulnerable times. Whether these doctors spiraled out of control over money, jealousy, power or from mental breakdown, viewers will get a look inside these killers’ minds who lost sight of their Hippocratic Oath and used their practice for evil, leaving their patients sick, injured, paralyzed or even dead. The series recounts how authorities were finally able to stop these medical professionals’ malpractice, putting an end to the madness before someone else got hurt or killed.
In the premiere episode, “Deadly God Complex,” Dr. Christopher Duntsch, a Dallas spine surgeon’s God complex puts patients at risk and it’s up to the fellow medical staff to blow the whistle before more innocent people are victimized.
“License to Kill” is produced by Shed Media with Pam Healey, Dan Peirson, Adam Kassen, Haylee Vance, Dave Kuba and Terry Dubrow serving as executive producers.”
What do you think? Are you a fan of true crime docs? Will you watch License to Kill?
Why is the show so poorly made, it’s awful to watch, too bad because I like the show
Best medical show on TV! One of the most relevant programs on TV. This program makes the world a better place. You educate, inform and inspire.
This is the most important show on TV. You have no idea how often this happens daily..Sadistic nurses, evil doctors, oh it’s out tgere and people don’t wanna believe it. You must continue this series to protect people!!
Really like this show. Dubrow always appears knowledgeable and is a great host. Keep them episodes coming.
I stumbled along this program License to Kill. What an excellent program. Perfect chose in the host ..Dr. Dubrow. Captivating episodes.
License to Kill is the BEST yet. It’s about time the public is shown one of the most underreported crimes in the USA. Doctors and nurses who kill. These killers are extremely hard to detect and prosecute. Keep exposing these hidden cases that the public rarely knows about. It’s going on all the time. Right under our noses. Very interesting cases shown here. MORE PLEASE! Fascinating look into the mind of a medical killer. Don’t forget that the some in the medical community cover or willfully ignore Doctor and nurse killers and abusers. And hospital admin would rather TRANSFER them… Read more »
I have a doctor to add to the list. He has made my mother’s life unbearable. Just Google Enrique Tomeu and you will understand.
I have a story that my husband has gone thru for 3 years you would not believe. It all started with him getting mustard gas as a chemo. I don’t trust doctors in any way. The got rid of the cancer but destroyed him. It’s been all about money because we have incredible insurance.
I agree with George. A better way to go is spotlighting medical professionals that go the extra mile for a patient. But I know “place lands safely” doesn’t make the internet.
These people are gettting away with this stuff in epidemic numbers. The FBI profiled serial medical killers. They are mostly nurses. And they do their most evil work at hospitals. Next more common are the private duty nurses who work in home care. They know how to mask it. Give too many meds, blame it on patient’s health. Pocket meds. But chart it was given. Fake notes. Saying they gave oxygen to a patient, but didn’t. Poisoning patients. Putting shards of glass in their food and doing it right before the next nurse comes on….or putting toxic things in drinks… Read more »
Seriously: this is much too scary to watch. I already don’t trust MDs (especially locally in my insurance plan). This would make any future possible procedure / surgery even harder to accept. We don’t want increased anxiety.
This is a horror show.
No George. Just no. We must expose evil people like this, not turn our eyes away from the evil they do or they are empowered to keep doing it.
