Sheriff Longmire tries to keep order in his Wyoming county — and attract great ratings for A&E. The TV show’s ratings are the best way to tell if it will be cancelled or renewed for a second season. The first season of Longmire airs Sunday nights. There are 10 episodes.
The new TV show follows a widower (Robert Taylor) who buries his pain in his work and dry wit. The cast also includes Katee Sackhoff, Lou Diamond Phillips, Bailey Chase, Adam Bartley, and Cassidy Freeman.

Renew Longmire for another season.
It is one of the best and my wife I have enjoyed each episode.
The storyline is different, more interesting and more exciting than the ordinary fare usually on tv series.
Also, the storyline that centers on Wyoming and Native Americans is perhaps unique and excellent television.
Thank you.
OMG I love this show!!
This is the best show on television. The writing is outstanding and the characters are strong and interesting. This is one of the few shows I save after I view it.
I love it… cant wait till next season!!!!
Love it! Longmire is a character in the tradition of James Lee Burke’s Dave Robicheaux or, at another end of the spectrum, Kenneth Branagh’s character, Wallander, from the UK Series of the same name only Longmire is western….as western as any modern western protagonist can be yet he is brilliant in his investigative techniques and prescient in his knowledge of human character and interaction. If you’re not watching Longmire, you’re missing a lot….a whole lot!
