Sheriff Longmire tries to keep order in his Wyoming county — and attract great ratings for A&E. The TV show’s ratings are the best way to tell if it will be cancelled or renewed for a second season. The first season of Longmire airs Sunday nights. There are 10 episodes.
The new TV show follows a widower (Robert Taylor) who buries his pain in his work and dry wit. The cast also includes Katee Sackhoff, Lou Diamond Phillips, Bailey Chase, Adam Bartley, and Cassidy Freeman.

Do not cancel this show it’s one of the few that my husband really enjoy together! Please bring it back to a& e.
I would like to see this program to continue. There is actually a plot, it is a fresh show, so please bring it back, as there are not enough really good shows out there anymore.
I would like to see the show continue, really enjoy watching.
Watched season 3 premier, we loved it. I see the rating are down. I don’t know why, it is a quality show all the way around!!. We hope it does very good like last season, only better. But the company that tracts the ratings, keeps 18 to49 age group as the magical group. Well we are older and we are alive and spend money to!! We brought season 1 and 2 of Longmire and all of Craig Johnson’s books!!. This is the one show we watch. A&E should run season 1 and 2 during the time Longmire is not on.… Read more »
I love the series. The characters are believable and the actors’ portrayals are terrific and help to pull the viewer into the stories. I also love the law enforcement, cowboy style, but with reserve. The weaving in of the Cherokee culture also helps to keep serious social issues in mind as well. I do hope for the series to be renewed for a third season.
The acting is great. I could not belive Robert Taylor is Australian. I guess a good actor can play most any part. All the acting is great even the new actors. The story lines are not predictable. They are fresh. I first got a taste of the start of the second season and went back and watched the entire 1st season. I’m well into the second season and sincerely hope you continue with a third. We need some real cowboy heros in this day and age.
