Lucifer just aired its winter finale this week, but when will it return? Season two of the FOX TV series is set to return in May.
Based on the DC Comics character, the drama follows Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) as he leaves his throne in Hell to live in Los Angeles. The cast also includes Lauren German, D.B. Woodside, Tricia Helfer, Rachael Harris, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Aimee Garcia, and Scarlett Estevez.
So far, season two of Lucifer is not performing all that well in the ratings. Thirteen episodes in, the series holds an average rating of 1.10 in the 18-49 demo and only 3.825 million viewers. That’s far lower than season one, which averaged a 1.47 rating in the 18-49 demo and a total of 4.56 million viewers.
FOX has not yet announced whether or not Lucifer will be renewed for a third season. Season two of the show returns on May 1st.

Big Fan of the show. Absolutely would be very disappointed if the show was cancelled. Always enjoyed every aspect of it. The cast and crew know what there doing. Just because there’s so much competition of so many really good shows on TV. I believe the rating’s themselves are a farce. Please give us the better judgement of a doubt. And set up another season for us. I’m praying evil has it’s day of enlightening.
Please keep Lucifer on. Love the show, can’t wait to see what happens next. Great characters.

I love this show!! It’s thought provoking and introduced a new way to view the different view of his character, his values, his power, his limitations. What fun too! Please renew and tell the writers to emphasize his dislike of evil and penchant for punishing the bad guys.

This is one of the best shows on TV. The story line is funny and thought provoking and the acting is 1st rate. Please bring the series back for another season!!!!
I’m an Episcopalian Sunday school teacher and I love “Lucifer”! It’s funny and thought provoking. Time spent watching this show is time well spent.
Here we go again what’s wrong with tv networks they put out a show and then a few weeks in pull it for football or some such then bring it back for a few more weeks then off again for months , and then often change the day it is shown ..then say well nobodys watching it regularly so were cancelling..no ines watching it because you keep messing it about !
