Burbank, CA (May 28, 2013) – ABC Family today announced the network has expanded the third season of its hit original comedy series, “Melissa & Joey,” as well as ordered a fourth season, making this the network’s first comedy to reach 100 episodes. “One hundred episodes is a great accomplishment for any series, and we are thrilled to give ‘Melissa and Joey’ the opportunity to achieve this milestone, as they’ve delivered hundreds and hundreds of laughs over the seasons,” said Kate Juergens, Executive Vice President, Programming and Development and Chief Creative Officer, ABC Family.
Along with series stars Melissa Joan Hart, Joey Lawrence, Taylor Spreitler and Nick Robinson, the upcoming third season features such notable guest stars as Sterling Knight, Shannon Elizabeth, Trevor Donovan, Marla Sokoloff, Marissa Jaret Winokur, Jaime Pressly and Doris Roberts, who will be appearing in two episodes as Joe’s grandmother.

That’s exactly right–Clarissa Blossom and Who’s the Boss in one. This show isn’t very intellectual but it is the most enjoyable thing about tv these days. Love me some Joe Longo.

I don’t want to watch TV to see more upsetting drama, I want to see something light hearted that makes me feel like the world is still a good place. This is the perfect show for that.
