The peacock network is the last of the five networks to announce their kick off dates for the 2011-12 fall season. Interestingly, all of the broadcast networks are rolling out their new shows at essentially the same time — none of them are trying to get a jump on the competition this time around.
Here’s the official press release from NBC:

It is now January and I miss Prime suspect!
Would love to see Chuck come back for more than a final season – have been waiting for the new season to start only to read it may be the last!! Doesn’t make sense.
I thoroughly enjoyed Harry’s Law and look forward to it’s return.
Harry’s Law! Great show. Won’t miss an episode. Kathy Bates was a great pick. Keep it going!!!!
Will be watching Chuck’s last season then I’ll be done with NBC. Tired of all there lame shows they keep and the cancellation of great shows like Chase they don’t keep. NBC will not win there viewers back until they stop listening to idiots and start listening to there fans.
Great, Grimm is on at 9, along with Fringe and Supernatural.
I know, it’s unbelievable! I’ll be getting the DVD set of CSI: NY so that I can utilize the three TVs we have in this house to tape Fringe, Supernatural, and Grimm. Talk about a packed time slot. And what’s more, Grimm is the only thing I’ll be watching on NBC all season! Oh well, at least it’s premiering later so that I can get a few episodes of CSI:NY in before switching over to Grimm.
Ever since the first season of Heroes I’ve been watching NBC on Mondays. I was hoping that Mondays would be Chuck then Grimm. I’m going to end up watching either Fringe or Grimm online. I can only record/watch 2 shows at the same time. And what did they replace it with? A friggin reality show! Video killed the radio star? Reality shows killed TV.
I’m happy to see “Parenthood” and “Chuck” again, but I am very disappointed that the “Chuck” season will be so short before it ends! I am so very tired of reality shows, all of them! Singing, dancing, losing weight, racing, etc. – they may as well do one about sleeping – it couldn’t get anymore old and boring! I, also, have to say that sitcoms, today, just aren’t funny! This coming fall line-up seems to have more than ever! Until they can be written for people who are not stupid, and can understand a stronger or more complicated story line,… Read more »
The Event, which you cancelled
I will watch the biggest Loser and Chuck… Chuck moved to Fridays??? Wow… Last season no doubt…
I am sure they will then complain how Chuck is not producing the numbers it used to…
Replacing it with another singing show knockoff wannabee…
Oh and SVU, the FIRST time I will not wait for it to be in syndication…
Grandizer » Yes. It’s coming back for 13 episodes and that will be the end.
I think I will Tivo Grimm and Whitney to see how they are, but Community and Football are the only returning shows that I really enjoy.
