Airing on NBC, Night Court ran from January 1984 until May 1992. The sitcom is set during the night shift sessions of a Manhattan court. Judge Harry Stone (Harry Anderson) presides over a crazy courtroom that is unorthodox at best.
Stories revolve around bizarre defendants and the regular court crew -– public defender Christine Sullivan (Markie Post), prosecutor Dan Fielding (John Laroquette), court clerk Macintosh “Mac” Robinson (Charles Robinson), and bailiffs Roz Russell (Marsha Warfield) and Nostradamus “Bull” Shannon (Richard Moll).
In season four, Judge Stone is bounced from the bench and Roz joins the group. The hi-jinks continue as Dan is loved into a coma, Christine takes a turn with the gavel, Bull authors a questionable childrens book and Mac seems to go into labor.
