People of Earth is one if the best comedies on t.v. Mixing genres of satire, sci-fi, and farce with understated wit and irony, the series outranks Portlandia and similar shows. The writing is sharp, the acting superb. Characterization is so well developed that the “I care” factor grows with each episode–for all characters.
Bjorn Gustafsson steals the show as a childlike Tolkeinian elf-alien. I can’ t get enough of this brilliantly funny ensemble.
