– Special After Show Hosted by Fox Sports TV Personality and Pit Bull Advocate Jay Glazer to Air Immediately Following 100th Episode from Villalobos Rescue Center –
(New York) – Tia Torres has been the face of pit bull advocacy for more than 20 years and has elevated the discussion of breed discrimination to the national level ever since PIT BULLS & PAROLEES first premiered on Animal Planet in 2009. Throughout the past seven seasons, viewers have witnessed Tia and her family band together to overcome natural disasters, heartbreaking rescues and a cross-country relocation from Los Angeles to New Orleans with hundreds of dogs while they continue to operate a rescue empire – Villalobos Rescue Center – the largest pit bull rescue center in the U.S. Tia has also offered a fresh start to more than 50 parolees and a new lease on life to hundreds of dogs that were discarded, demonized and abused, often due solely to the reputation of their breed. Now, Animal Planet celebrates the 100th episode milestone of PIT BULLS & PAROLEES on Saturday, January 2, at 10 PM (ET/PT). Immediately following the episode, Fox Sports TV personality and pit bull advocate Jay Glazer will catch up with Tia inside Villalobos Rescue Center for an unfiltered look at life behind the scenes with her kids and the dogs she’s fought for and rescued over the past two decades. Additionally, the network announces the renewal of the franchise series, produced by Emmy-nominated 44 Blue Productions, with 10 brand new episodes beginning fall 2016.
With a loyal fan base and a thriving social media presence nearing 1.5 million Facebook fans, PIT BULLS & PAROLEES has inspired a pit bull rescue movement across the country. Beginning at 11 PM (ET/PT), Jay Glazer will host a half-hour special After show event with Tia Torres from Villalobos Rescue Center in New Orleans. During the intimate discussion, Tia will give viewers the no-holds-barred inside scoop about what it’s like to run the nation’s largest pit bull rescue while she also films the television series at the same time. Throughout the night, fans will have the chance to show off their own pit bulls on air by submitting pictures using #PitBulls100 on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
PIT BULLS & PAROLEES is produced for Animal Planet by 44 Blue Productions and Rive Gauche Television. Rasha Drachkovitch, Billy Cooper and Dave Luce are the executive producers for 44 Blue Productions. For Animal Planet, Lisa Lucas is the executive producer, and Patrick Keegan is the producer.

The twins got a great family and it shows how they grew, it shows how each one of the girls became part of growth and each became their own person on the shows. The show is really fascinating to watch and wait for the next episode. PLEASE do NOT cancel!!!!!!!
I have worked as a Vet Tech for 28 yrs. Tia and her team (family, parolees, and the dogs) caused alot of people to change their opinion about Pit Bulls. Thank you for getting through to the public, something I have known for a long time. Our Pit Bull was stolden. The people who took him tried to fight him or maybe used him as bait. When I found him,(being walked on a heavy chain and by a very big man) he was in bad shape. I told the man to give me my dog. He said no the dog… Read more »

The family are truly themselves and good people to keep doing what they are. Love the little stories about the dogs and the people that work for them. Just wish your season’s were longer is all
Love this show! Respect all of the cast & have learned so much about this breed. I am a cat person, but have learned they get along if it is the right dog

Empathy, my life has been similar to some of your dog’s. Rough and hard. May the powers that be, bless you and yours for having rescue and not hate for these dogs. I am 61 and eager for your show to continue. Your show rescued me. Disabled and very little funds to survive on. Wish could donate my income to you, but… like survivi,g myself. Congrats and ” you go girl”. Kudos to your family and friends.

When are they coming back!!!
I love watching this show because I have a pitbull mix that is cat & people aggressive and Iwe are stuck with her. I had one that was sweet and awesome and one that took forever for him to get used to me and is now sweet to me and others. The last two have great homes. I can relate to this show and it makes me smile and breaks my heart but I want to watch it because I do smile more often than not.
This is by far one of the best show for animals and how ppl will dedicate their lives for those without voice
I am hope with the latest round of tornado and bad weather all are ok at Villalobos …Good speed to all in the area
I was wondering if the last tornado and bad weather hit Villalobos…And if they were all ok and will return god speed to all in the area.
