Psych is returning later this year for a holiday revival movie, but one member of the original cast will not be seen.
Entertainment Weekly revealed that Cary Elwes will not be seen on the revival of the USA Network series. Steve Franks said the following about Elwes’ non-appearance:
“Here’s the funny thing: Cary was the one who leaked that the movie was happening while James [Roday] and I were writing. Yet, we couldn’t make it work with Cary of all people! [This] feels very Psych-like. The one person you think would be in it, he’s not in this one.”

The movie would have been MUCH better if it had been another Desperaux focused show…
I love Cary Elwes character on Psych, but I would still watch the reunion.
This is just awesome! One of my fave shows ever and definitely my fave USA show. Could this lead to a new season or three if the ratings are good?
Glad to see a movie. CE wasn’t in the big picture as far as I’m concerned. The 4-5 main characters I will be happy to see again together.
