Reign will return to CW for a fourth season, but fans can expect some big changes both for Mary and the series. Adelaide Kane spoke with TV Line about season four and the end of season three.
Reports back in March teased the exit of Torrance Coombs from the series, and Kane confirmed that. Bash will not travel to Scotland with Mary. In fact, Mary might see several of her friends stay in France. Greer, who is played by Celina Sinden, asked for permission to stay in France on this week’s episode.
Kane said the following about Coombs’ exit:
“It’s a bummer, but Bash doesn’t have a lot of traction in Scotland. His storyline soon will come to its conclusion, and his character has other avenues to explore that might not necessarily be on screen.”
As for season four, Kane teased big things for the drama. She said:
“It’s a whole new chapter, a whole new country and a whole new court. There will be new friends and new enemies. We’re gearing up for some really big storylines in Season 4. Mary’s life didn’t even really start until she got to Scotland; that’s when things really kicked off for her. France was a lovely interlude, but it was only a small part of her life.”

I loved this show. It was very interesting and entertaining. The historical aspect was great. I hate to see Bash go. I liked both Francis and Bash on the show. If it doesn’t continue on this network can it be picked up by another?
Keep it going. The raven haired beauty is worth it all. Plus the history lessons although altered for the story telling sake are interesting.

Absolutely love the show. I have watch 2 seasons in 3 days! I really hope the show continues. It has been one of thee best ones I’ve watched in a long time. Queen Mary and King Francis! Long may they Reign!
I love Mary and Bash together. I wish Bash would stay on this show as Mary’s protector, friend and lover. Katherine also added a lot of excitement. I look forward to the new season but will definitely miss all the old characters, Lola, her husband, Katherine’s daughter and her boyfriend.
I’ve enjoyed every season and do not wish it to end. People come and go on series all the time even though they are missed very much doesn’t mean we want the shows to end. I’m really just hoping Reign is renewed for a fourth season, I keep hearing it will be cancelled.
I can’t see much of a role for Queen Catherine or Narcisse either, but I adore them both, so hopefully they’ll still be involved in some way.
Did they just drop the supernatural aspects all together? I miss those.
