TV show description:
This dramatic science-fiction TV series explores the question “What would you do without it all?” A family struggles to reunite in an American landscape where every single piece of technology — computers, refrigerators, air conditioners, planes, cars, phones, lights — has mysteriously stopped working. Electrical power has simply gone away. The show also revolves around the idea of family — both the family you’re born into and the family you choose.
Charlie Matheson (Tracy Spiridakos) is the headstrong, curious and daring daughter of Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) and Ben Matheson (Tim Guinee). Ben is hiding a mysterious secret about the blackout. Maggie (Anna Lise Phillips), a medical doctor, became involved with him following his wife’s death.
When Charlie’s younger and thoughtful brother, Danny (Graham Rogers), is kidnapped by militia leaders, she must reconnect with her estranged uncle Miles Matheson (Billy Burke), a former US Marine and warrior who’s living as a recluse.
Together, with a rogue band of survivors, they set out to rescue Danny, overthrow the militia and ultimately re-establish the United States of America. All the while, they explore the enduring mystery of why the power failed and how or if it will ever return.
The rebel group includes fighter Nora (Daniella Alonso); General “Bass” Monroe (David Lyons), a former Marine who served alongside Miles; and Aaron (Zak Orth), a former Google executive and a computer genius who’s ill-prepared for the rigors of the technology-less world.
Captain Tom Neville (Giancarlo Esposito), a cultured former insurance adjuster turned Monroe Republic leader and Nate Walker (JD Pardo) is a member of the militia who has conflicted feelings for Charlie.
Episode #42 — Declaration of Independence
Miles (Billy Burke), Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) and Monroe (David Lyons) launch an attack on the Patriots, but must improvise a risky new plan in order to halt the oncoming war between California and Texas. Out for revenge, Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) sets his sights on President Davis (guest star Cotter Smith). Meanwhile, Aaron (Zak Orth) and Rachel’s (Elizabeth Mitchell) efforts to save Priscilla (guest star Maureen Sebastian) from the nano-tech has unexpected consequences.
First aired: May 21, 2014.
What do you think? Do you like the Revolution TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for another season?

NBC is always canceling great shows. Instead they would rather run stupid SNL repeats over and over. NBC hasn’t kept a show in since friends. I refuse to watch other shows on NBC b/c they will just end up canceling it. They should at least give us fans an ending to this show.
I can’t believe this show canceled!
It’s literally the only show we watched!
So so sad. Should not have been canceled!
Love this show! It should not of been cancelled! I dvr’d this show and watched every episode. Please bring it back! The last episode is not the way a great show should end!
I just can’t believe you guys would cancel Revolution, and leave the rest of the crap on. It has been one of the best shows we have watched. Don ‘t think I will be watching this channel anymore. Whoever is running the show is a bunch of idiots. Please bring it back. What are you thinking?
Love this show too, one of the better ones on TV now a days. What a horrible way to end the series, leaving us all wondering. Don’t know if anyone from NBC is paying attention to this site but I really hope they are. Please renew this show, it is one of the few shows NBC has or sadly to say had on the air.
It’s a good story, but needs better resolution that what we were left with at the end of the season finally. Please renew.
The ONLY show worth watching. Please renew it!!
WTF NBC
My husband and I love Revolution. We look forward to it each week plus we DVD it to research the episode. Please don’t cancel this show. This is one of the few shows I watch because I am tired of watching reality TV.
I used DVR for all my shows and I will so miss this. Does this blog even make a difference? Is anybody listening. I really liked this show, put it back.
are you guys nuts. Put it back!. How do you get your ratings. I love it. Really, with all the crap on TV, and you take this off!!! Where do you get you information? Put it back
I guess NBC will never learn. this reminds me of that loser series they cancelled , due to lack of interest called Star Trek. I guess we need more inane comedies or another “talent show” or is Kim Kardashian getting a baby North West show ?
Revolution is a great series! Definitely should NOT be cancelled!!!
NBC always cancels or moves good shows to bad time slots. I never missed this show it should never have been moved or cancelled. The have NO Brains at NBC.
My husband and I look forward to watching this show together every week! They need to renew this show for next fall! My husband always figures out what is going to happen on anything we watch! He wasn’t able to do it with Revolution ! Please bring it back!
