Does John Nolan make the grade during the first season of The Rookie TV show on ABC? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like The Rookie is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all of The Rookie season one episodes here. *Status update below.
An ABC comedy-drama, The Rookie stars Nathan Fillion, Alyssa Diaz, Richard T. Jones, Titus Makin, Mercedes Mason, Melissa O’Neil, Afton Williamson, and Eric Winter. The story centers on John Nolan (Fillion), a small-town guy who, after a life-changing experience, decides to pursue his dream of being an LAPD officer. Now he’s the oldest rookie on the force, and the brass thinks he’s just having a midlife crisis. He’s got to keep up with his younger co-workers (not to mention young criminals) or he’ll risk lives. Maybe though, he can use the experience he’s gained with age, and the determination he has developed over the years, to make a real go of it. Either way, he’s got a secret weapon — his sense of humor.

It’s been a long time since there’s been a good cop show. Everybody on the cast is really likable, and there’s always plenty of action. Please renew the show.

This has been my favorite new show this season! I SO enjoy watching Nathan Fillion — I think he is perfectly cast in this show. Please, please reconsider cancelling The Rookie!!

I really enjoy this show. My husband and I watch it on Hulu every week. Please, please don’t cancel it. The actors and plot are interesting enough to have me writing review. I rarely, if ever, do that.
I enjoyed The Rookie more than any series in a long time. The story line is always good and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Please bring it back. I want to know what’s happened to Tim and if Nolan will keep what he saw when she shot him when the man had his hands up obviously turning himself in. Please at least give it another season so we know what happened. Truly an excellent show!
I look forward to watching the Rooky every week. Great cast and drama/comedy gives tense moments yet so many moments of laughter. Love it. Please dont cancel.

Please renew The Rookie on ABC. I love all the characters and the writing is unique and fun. We don’t have enough good shows like this one.
Please bring the Rookie back for another season. It has been one of the best cop shows I’ve watched in a long time since Castle ended. I love all the characters, they give it that intensity of good drama and humor all at the same time. Its not boring at all. It picks up where it left off every time, instead of jumping to something completely different like alot of other cop shows do. That’s another great quality about it.
