Does John Nolan make the grade during the first season of The Rookie TV show on ABC? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like The Rookie is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all of The Rookie season one episodes here. *Status update below.
An ABC comedy-drama, The Rookie stars Nathan Fillion, Alyssa Diaz, Richard T. Jones, Titus Makin, Mercedes Mason, Melissa O’Neil, Afton Williamson, and Eric Winter. The story centers on John Nolan (Fillion), a small-town guy who, after a life-changing experience, decides to pursue his dream of being an LAPD officer. Now he’s the oldest rookie on the force, and the brass thinks he’s just having a midlife crisis. He’s got to keep up with his younger co-workers (not to mention young criminals) or he’ll risk lives. Maybe though, he can use the experience he’s gained with age, and the determination he has developed over the years, to make a real go of it. Either way, he’s got a secret weapon — his sense of humor.

Totally Love The Rookie and Will Be Very upset to not see a Season 2! You need to keep the good shows and do away with all the reality TV ! A season 2 is a must because Officer Bradford has to end up being Alright! Underneath His tough exterior he is a Wonderful Caring Officer! We need more shows that show & reflect caring in our civil service!

The “Rookie” is the Only “Police show” since “Hill Street Blues” worth watching. It seems to be well researched for “Procedure”, has a “Lite touch” of “dark Humor”, Believable scrips. Believable “Characters” and Most Important a “Chemistry” of Cast. ABC “shows” by Even Considering” Cancelation” of the “Rookie” Why it has been the Number “3” “Network” Since 1958 (YES, I CAN “Remember “Back that far”)
Please renew The Rookie – love every episode. Each one is better than the next one. Definitely a Nathan Fillion fan! Love the cast!
Please renew The Rookie for many seasons to come, not just 2nd season, but beyond that!

Our whole family and numerous friends watch the Rookie!! It’s a wholesome family show without all the improper verbage used these days. Many kids hear those words when they shouldn’t. So it’s nice to see a show with comedy and drama mixed together and decent language. Nathan Fillion does a perfect job on the “Rookie” and it will be a shame if it gets cancelled. Give them a 2nd chance or give them a different day to be seen on! Thanks guys please listen.
The rookie is a great new show, that is unlike any other police show out there. Every week is exciting and fresh and moving. My son and I are glued to the rookie every week. The few weeks it was not on because of special programming, we pulled it up on demand and watched an episode just because we need to get our rookie fix every week. Please renew this show! It has an excellent cast and wonderful storylines – something different every week! It is fantastic!!!

We absolutely love The Rookie. The whole show is very well put together, the cast works well together and the story lines are believable. We go to bed by 9 so we record it and watch it when we get home on Wednesday. Please renew the show. There are few shows worth watching anymore, and The Rookie is definitely one of them.
We love the Rookie. I hope they are smart enough to keep the show going! Love the characters so I hope they don’t change them. Plus we need to see what happens next.
