I keep reading that Smash is finished. Such sad news. It was such a hit when it was promoted along with The Voice. However, after that first season of The Voice, NBC put Smash on the shelf. then when it returned, there was no fanfare whatsoever. Shame on NBC! Smash should be renewed!!
I love smash! This is a well crafted drama that is not a police show for a change. So sick of reality shows. Finally a show that is enjoyable and its not a rating booster. Have people just become that they will just accept reality shows. I don’t care what night of the week smash is on I will watch it. I am sure this show is expensive to produce, but the network knew that going into it. People love drama, musicals and the theater, this show has what it takes to make it. Smash is doing as well as Community and all the other Thursday night comedies and It’ll get canceled, but they’ll continue.
