The old world meets the new in NBC’s new comedy. According to Variety, the network has ordered a pilot from comedian Sebastian Maniscalco titled Sebastian.
The series joins several other comedy pilot orders from NBC that include Me & Mean Margaret and a father-son comedy from Vladimir Caamano.
From Maniscalco and Austen Earl, Sebastian will chronicle the title character (played by Maniscalco) as he tries to maintain his traditional Italian values in the face of his new wife, family, and the modern world.
The Millers creator Greg Garcia is set to executive produce.

What happened? Didn’t NBC like the show? He’s hysterical! We went to see him on stage, hilarious performer. We would certainly love to see his sitcom!

I can’t wait to watch this series! I love Sebastian Maniscalco. Have seen him live a few times now and am excited to see him in a series. As all his performances I’m sure it will be side splitting hilarious!
