Another actor has joined The Son. Deadline reports Jacob Lofland has been cast as a young Pierce Brosnan in the upcoming AMC series.

Earlier, we reported Brosnan has joined the drama, replacing previous star Sam Neill, as the patriarch of a powerful Texan family.

Lofland will play a younger version of Brosnan’s character, Eli McCullough, who is”raised in captivity among the Comanche and can only survive by understanding his captors — even if it means truly becoming one of them.”

The Son begins production in Texas soon, with a expected premiere date set for 2017.
