CBS recently dropped Stalker from their schedule and replaced it with a new TV show, CSI: Cyber. Now, there’s word that it’s coming back on the air — but for how long?
A cop thriller, Stalker follows the work of the LAPD’s Threat Assessment Unit, a team that investigates incidents of stalking. The TV show stars Dylan McDermott, Maggie Q, Victor Rasuk, and Mariana Klaveno.
After airing 17 of the show’s first season episodes, CBS took Stalker off the air. However, according to star Maggie Q, fans will get a chance to see the remaining episodes. She recently tweeted, “That’s a wrap on Stalker Season 1! We are back on the air at the end of the month! Thank you so much for your support!”
So far, there’s been no official word from the network regarding the unaired episodes. That seems a little unusual considering there’s less than two weeks left in the March.
While it’s good news that viewers will (hopefully) get a chance to see the remaining unaired episodes, it doesn’t change the fact that Stalker’s unlikely to be renewed for a second season. The ratings have been a disappointment at best and, so far, CSI: Cyber’s been doing much better in the same timeslot.

Blame it on CBS for having Stalker getting replaced by CSI: Cyber. I really hate to be the bearer of bad news here but I have a feeling that both Stalker and CSI: Cyber won’t survive before the season ends. 🙁 🙁
Let’s wait until the final three episodes air before you start writing Stalker off as canceled. This show needs more word of mouth and I hope CBS promotes this show more.

This is a great show and am very dissapointed if it leaves all together! I like Stalker much better then CSI Cyber. Please keep it going!

I know quite a few people who miss Stalker and don’t care to watch CSI – Cyber. No offense to that show, but I think Stalker needs to come back. And I think it should be renewed for a second season. But the show definitely needs to focus a little more on the characters and less on the shock factor of “stalker of the week”.
Nothing I hate more than getting hooked into a new series only for it to disappear off the air with no warning. I was wondering were it went. I would like to see it continue.

STALKER truly a great and totally gripping show and csi/cyber strange bad acted and story pathetic. Also miss oscar girl over done and over rated. Cyber needs to go for a true gripping premise so get smart and throw over rated oscar show out for a real and true mind grabbing show about a real thing that truly is being done to many in the world today.

I love the characters on stalker and their backstories. I’ve been watching CSI Cyber and have to say I enjoy stalker much more.

I really enjoyed this new series. It is sad when a good show with talented actors goes off the air.
So many TV channels are dropping shows mid season now or after the first season. They aren’t giving shows much of a chance. I always watched stalker next day on demand. Loved it! Def. Was one of my favorite. Shows.
