The story of the young “star-crossed” lovers is coming to a close. The CW has cancelled Star-Crossed after one season of 13 episodes.
Star-Crossed revolves around a pair of teens — one human (Aimee Teegarden) and one alien (Matt Lanter) — who fall in love and struggle to overcome the discrimination and distrust around them. The rest of the cast includes Grey Damon, Natalie Hall, Malese Jow, Titus Makin Jr., Chelsea Gilligan, Brina Palencia, and Greg Finley.
The series debuted as a mid-season replacement and never took hold in the ratings. The premiere drew a lackluster 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demo with 1.28 million viewers. Subsequent episodes performed even worse, making Star-Crossed one of the network’s lowest-rated shows.
There are just 13 episodes in the season and the finale, titled “Passion Lends Them Power,” will air next Monday night.

THIS HAPPENS WITH SO MANY SHOWS NOW BEING FOUND ON NETFLIX FROM MULTIPLE TV NETWORKS….THEY DONT ADVERTISE BEFORE IT COMES OUT SO THEN THEY CANCEL THE SERIES… THEN IT GETS OFF THE CHARTS RATINGS ON NETFLIX AND PISSED OFF VIEWERS BC THERE IS ONLY ONE SEASON… WTF
I love this show I watched it on TV and on Netflix I want…no I need to know what happens you can’t put a cliff hanger like that and expect people not o ant more. Bring it back cw please….

I had no idea this show was on tv! I found it on netflicks! If advertisement would have been better im sure there would have been higher ratings for the show! Please bring it back! This show draws you in from the beginning and is absolutely amazing. I love the cast and the story line!!

Me and my friends just finished watching it on Netflix and we can’t get enough! It’s such a good show!!! CW definitely did not give it a chance. The story line is great and I love the characters! Netflix, CW or someone else need to bring it back. More and more people keep watching it and they love it! I NEED SEASON 2! PLEASE!!
