Fans of The Lying Game may have a very long time to wait before the return of the ABC Family TV series. Alloy Entertainment, who produces the TV show with Warner Horizon, has announced that Lying Game won’t be back until Tuesday, January 1, 2013.

They list the first six episodes of the second season, along with airdates:

Season 2, Episode 1: “The Revengers” Airs: January 1, 2013

Season 2, Episode 2: “Cheat, Play, Love” Airs: January 8, 2013

Season 2, Episode 3: “Advantage Sutton” Airs: January 15, 2013

Season 2, Episode 4: “A Kiss Before Lying” Airs: January 22, 2013

Season 2, Episode 5: “Much Ado About Everything” Airs: January 29, 2013

Season 2, Episode 6: “Catch Her in the Lie” Airs: February 5, 2013

ABC Family hasn’t confirmed the return date but if this information is accurate, it will be 10 months since the end of the first season — March 5, 2012.

The first season of The Lying Game averaged a 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.38 million total viewers. It was renewed for season two back in late April.
