It’s time for the aliens to go home. ABC has cancelled The Neighbors after two seasons and 44 episodes.
A family sitcom, The Neighbors follows the Weaver clan as they try to live in a beautiful gated community that’s filled with alien visitors from the planet Zabvron. The ensemble castmembers are Jami Gertz, Lenny Venito, Simon Templeman, Toks Olagundoye, Tim Jo, Clara Mamet, Ian Patrick, Isabella Cramp, and Max Charles.
After a first season of mediocre ratings, the series could have been cancelled last May. However, ABC decided to stick with it and scheduled it on Friday nights. Expectations on Fridays are lower but The Neighbors’ ratings ended up being too low for a third season renewal.
Castmate Olagundoye tweeted the news, “Tweeps, I have known since last night, but was not able to share the news until it was announced publicly. #TheNeighbirs has been cancelled”

MY BOYFRIEND FOUND THIS SHOW AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. IT IS FUNNY AND GOOD FAMILY SHOW. YHERE WERE EVENR SOME SCENES WHERE I FELT EVERY EMOTION THEY WERE!!!! AN AMAZING SHOW PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!! I REALLY WANTED TO SEE WHAT HAPPENED AFTER LARRY BIRD GOT PREGNANT!!!!! WHAT AN ENDING TO LEAVE YOUR AUDIANCE AT!!!!!
What a great show! Excellent writing and even better execution of comedy timing hilariously wrapped up in the dynamic of “the family experience”. Please bring back.
Please bring back the Neighbors I loved the humor and the actors was great. I wish it wasn’t canceled. Why does a show have to be canceled due to rating, the ones that like it should be enough.

I LOVED THIS SHOW! unfortunately could never catch it! So wouldve watched a few more. people are lame for NOT LOVING this show! Just got done rewatching the show and well probably watch it again later do an the road. NEVER gets old!

I think Neighbors is a hilarious show and am saddened that it was cancelled. At least there is Hulu, for now.

These dumb networks are so out of touch with reality that they have no idea what their audience wants. They produce what they THINK people want but they’re so out of touch with reality they’re clueless.
My husband and I absolutely love this show!!! I have no clue how it would’ve gotten low ratings it’s hilarious and we looked forward to coming home from work to watch it!!! We really hope it comes back for another season it seems like every good show gets canceled for some reason and it sucks! Please we are begging bring it back!!!

Just found this show and say and watched it all on Hulu. This show is freakin awesome. I love aliens and I love comedy. They need to do something about this show being cancelled. I know its been a few years but I am sure they could figure something out to bring it back with the main adult characters. They had such a chemistry with their banter. Please bring this show back. I just found this show on Hulu earlier this month and could not stop watching. It is such a great show, I’m very disappointed that there’s only two seasons. How did this show not get at least 8 seasons?

I just started watching this and I am disappointed that it is canceled. This happens often because people don’t wait for things to come out weekly but instead binge watch multiple episodes when they have time. I often don’t discover series until too late. I don’t have cable and watch mostly Hulu and Netflix.
