The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

They shouldn’t of taken off the tommorrow people it was one of the best shows that i’ve seen in forever it had romance, twist, conflict and a whole lot of hotties and i honestly think it was a mistake to take off the show.BRING IT BACK!!!!!!
This show def should NOT have been cancelled!!!! I was horribly disappointed when I found out there wasn’t going to be anymore seasons 🙁
I feel that the “Tomorrow People” was a good show. The CW just did not pick the best time to play it. I have 10 to 16 years old that are currently watching episode one and love it. I feel if they decide to bring it back. They should change the time and date of its broadcasting. It would definitely have higher ratings. It had drama, love, conflict, hope, and a twist. This is what teenagers look for in a show.

I have been up for over a day watching this and when the season finally ended I was curious as to when the next would arrive but then I found out they cancelled it… PUT IT BACK ON!

i finish watching it for the second time and they had to cancel it . im so mad right now the character was so good .
This show should not been cancelled I just finished it on Netflix and I am literally craving for it. I love this show especially John

An interesting story, great acting,and intriquing outcome and survival of a changing world. Sound familiar? And instead of a second season people get lost in mindless series with no meanings for improving life?
It amazes me that so much obvious effort was put into this amazing series and that it got cancelled. Why do they always cancel the great ones? Firefly was a heartbreaking loss and The Tomorrow People is as well. I suppose we get more entertainment from rich housewives gossiping and spreading hatred and envy for one another than a show that reflects the truest heroic nature of the very human race we belong to. So yes, by all means…cancel good heroic suspenseful theme driven entertainment so that we may watch folks metaphorically backstabbing one another and hunt ducks…because the dumbing… Read more »
I defiantly agree with every one else. I’m on the last episode and am absolutely disappointed there won’t be another season. This is by far one of the best show I have watched. Very interesting and very unique. I love all of the actors & actresses. They are outstanding.. Very good in this show and I hate it won’t be continued. 🙁 and I also agree with the statement it obviously didn’t get promoted right or enough because I just found out about this show 2-3 weeks ago.
It wasn’t advertised correctly or it would have more ratings might even be one of the top shows but they should make another season and sell it to neflix
