NEW SET! NEW WARDROBE! SAME DANIEL.
THE 5TH SEASON OF “TOSH.0” PREMIERES ON COMEDY CENTRAL(R) TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 5 AT 10:00 P.M. ET/PT
NEW YORK, January 29, 2013 – Fresh threads and a fresh set kick off the fifth season of “Tosh.0.” Host Daniel Tosh will reveal a brand new look, having previously donned hoodies, cardigans, casual jackets, deep V’s, collared shirts, exposed arms, collegiate apparel, high fashion, sick kicks for the ladies and over-priced concert tees with sexy stubble. The highly-anticipated fifth season of “Tosh.0” debuts on COMEDY CENTRAL on Tuesday, February 5 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.
The premiere episode features a fiery “Web Redemption” segment in which Daniel invites Angry Ginger Kid to discuss his anger.
Future “Web Redemptions” and “CeWebrity Profiles” include:
· Fat Bottle Ninja: Daniel and the Fat Ninja battle a ninja army.
· Nerf Basketball: Profile of the greatest Nerf Basketball dunker of all time.
· The Illusion: The Illusion becomes the first ever “Tosh.0” intern.
· X-12: Daniel introduces the world to X-12 and tests his super-human abilities.
“Tosh.0” premiered on June 4, 2009 and features razor-sharp humor and biting commentary from comedian Daniel Tosh. The weekly, topical series delves into all aspects of the Internet from the absolutely absurd to the incredibly ingenious. Each episode includes Tosh giving subjects of notorious viral videos a second chance to redeem themselves from the embarrassment with which they have become synonymous with their very own “Web Redemption.”
The über-popular “Tosh.0” blog, which is one of COMEDY CENTRAL’s most-visited properties, continues to be updated daily with blog posts, web-exclusive behind-the-scenes content and interactive features. Viewers can follow Tosh on Twitter (currently with 7.5 million followers) as he live tweets during the show and also by becoming a fan of “Tosh.0” on Facebook (currently at 9.1 million fans).
“Tosh.0” is executive produced by Tosh, Charlie Siskel and Christie Smith. Gary Mann is the Executive in Charge of Production for COMEDY CENTRAL.
