Tonight’s finale left room for more stories of Peter and Neal and the stars of White Collar would be willing to return for a reunion movie if the opportunity arose.
Tim DeKay told TV Line, “I don’t know… I think in the past, I would have said, ‘No, I don’t see that being a possibility,’ but Veronica Mars kind of broke the mold with that. So I’m not going to say it would be impossible. I certainly would entertain that possibility, but right now, there aren’t any plans to have a movie.”
Matt Bomer jokes that any decision to make a White Collar movie is “way above my pay grade.” However, if he was asked to do one, “I would definitely want to do it just to get the chance to work with Tim and Willie [Garson] and Marsha [Thomason] and Sharif [Atkins] and Tiffani [Thiessen] again.”
Creator Jeff Eastin said, “You never know. That would be nice. I know the studio is pushing me to try to have viewers mail ties into USA to try to keep the series going.” [Laughs]
What do you think? After the series finale, would you be interested in seeing the cast reunite some day for a White Collar movie?
Have enjoyed White Collar for 6 years. It was the only TV series I religiously watched. Would LOVE to see a reunion. Will miss it like an old friend…….
YES PLEASE!!! Continue the series or make a movie but it ended too soon….
Cannot believe its over. The director the writers and cast did a GREAT JOB. Can’t believe its over. Will miss it. The wife tells me to get over it. But i felt like i was there, Thats how well
they put it together!!!!!MOVIE PLEASE.
Omg thats exactly i feel i was absolutely gutted when i watched the last one …i feel well down about it …i pray they wiĺl run a new episode
I love White Collar! The relationships and plot lines were all amazing!!!!!!
I would defenitly like to see a White collar tv movie I didn’t like that 6th season was short , and I’m glad the Neal character is implied to be alive but I’d like to see more.
Have to give Jeff Easton and the other great writers a break from 6 wonderful seasons. When they wind down what they are currently working on they can come back to WC with a twist. Neal may run into half siblings doing their junior year abroad in Paris. How would he like to be the Peter Burke character keeping the con twins in line? Just saying, make it a twist on the old show. This series was great family fare where 3 generations could watch and enjoy. Neal did learn to have a soul and he did protect those he… Read more »
I loved White Collar and I am disappointed it was cancelled. There are so few good shows on tv to watch, This show had it all comedy, drama, action and characters you really care about. USA is letting all there good shows go and I have yet to see a great replacement for the cancelled shows. I think USA should rethink what they think is entertaining and let the viewers decide. We would have better shows to watch if viewers had more of a say. I hope another network will pick uo white collar if not at least a reunion… Read more »
White Collar was a fun and wonderful show to watch. I already miss it. So many things unanswered. Neil’smother. James, shooting a gun? I really wish a network would pick it up and have another season(s)!!! Yes I would like a movie!!!!
I think that the USA Network should renew White Collar for a seventh season because they still got as tone of storyline to finish up:) Its always the same, when a TV Series is getting good, they cancel or end it and its y alot of ppl who watch Series get pissed off. Im all for a WHITE COLLAR TV MOVIE!!
Followed the show faithfully. Would love the series to continue but if not I would definitely be glad to see a movie. Loved the characters!
Last night’s episode was very well done, but it did leave me feeling sad that the series is ending. I will miss everyone. Matt Bomer did an amazing job of creating Neal as someone all the viewers could care about and love, Mozzie was so much fun to watch on every episode, Dianne Carroll played June with so much grace and charm- it was a joy to watch her, Tim McDey has been and always will be such a great actor- it was so wonderful to see him every week he did an amazing job playing Peter, Ms. Theisan portrayal… Read more »
YES! Simple and sweet.
If WC came out with a movie I would most definitely watch it. Also if by some change of heart the network decided to continue withe series I would continue to be a faithful fan and watch. Due to my work scheduling I have been watching all the episodes online, and have enjoyed the show from the beginning, GREAT work from the cast, writers and everyone connected to the show, thanks for 6 wonderful seasons. if the show is truly finished, god speed in your next endeavors, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and all the best to all. Your Faithful… Read more »
OMG ! You guys scared the crap out of me when I saw Neal DEAD ! I thought, “NO ! How can they let this story end like that?” Then, “One year later”, when it showed Mozzie talking to Peter, saying what stage of ‘grieving’ he was in, I accepted Neal was really gone. Especially, since there were only a handful of minutes left till the end of the episode. What an awesome final few minutes they were, when Peter is shown in that shipping container, looking at all the ‘evidence’ that Neal had pulled off the BIGGEST CON, EVER… Read more »
OH! Yeah! I love White Collar, I will miss it, awesome ending . I couldn’t believe Neal will go just like that, but with 17 minutes before the end, gives the viewer something to think about. Such a cleaver ending, wow. Yes I will see the movie. Thanks USA for bringing the best shows.
