Last month, ABC cancelled their new Tuesday night drama Wicked City, making it the first official cancellation of the 2015-16 television season.
The cast and crew were filming the eighth episode when the series was cancelled and executive producer Laurie Zaks shared that the writers were able to give the storyline some closure. She also said that ABC would stream the remaining five episodes online.
The episodes began airing in New Zealand earlier this month but fans in the U.S. have had to wait a bit longer.
The network has now released four of the remaining five episodes (which I’ve embedded below) via Hulu. Yesterday, Zaks noted that the last episode of Wicked City was just finished so she expects it to be posted soon.
We just finished editing episode 108 #wickedcity. sure it will be added to@hulu & https://t.co/GfZeBHzfNv shortly https://t.co/0QVabBeC7B

We’ll post the final episode of Wicked City as soon as it becomes available.
What do you think? Should Wicked City have been cancelled? Is it a better show than the ratings would seem to indicate? Are you looking forward to the final episode?
It was one of the few new shows I chose to watch and then it was GONE! The problem with networks is…….they choose to rely on ratings too much. There are a lot of viewers out here that no one ever counts. We should matter too.
This show should have stayed on the air.
I just watched the entire season with my wife and we loved it! Whoever cancelled it at ABC is a jerkoff! Fire his/her ass now and do season 2!
Wonder if ABC will air those remaining episodes late night or during the summer? If so, keep us posted!
Everytime there is a good show, ABC cancels it. Nothing new. I stopped watching after they cancelled the best new show of the year, Blood & Oil. Hope they lose all their viewers!!!
My wife and I loved the show but network execs have their heads so far up their a%^es that they can’t see anything but numbrs. People dvr shows now and it may take a little while for viewer numbers to show when you put it on at a crappy time!!!!!!
They gave up on this show too quickly. What about for those of us who don’t have Hulu are they going to release them on ABC GO or iTunes.
Huge Board Room Executive MISTAKE in canceling the series. Damn $$ didn’t allow enough time to develop. Geez, 3 episodes only to make such a dumb decision based only on their impatience! Hope they regret it, but I know they won’t.
No doubt they would cancel it. The first episode was horribly boring and it was not well made at all.
They should not have cancelled it! It was a good show. All the stations cancel the good shows and it stinks! So glad you posted the final episodes so I can get some closure. I wish the stations would stop putting on dumb reality shows and leave shows like Wicked City on – look how well Dexter did! It was on for lots of seasons! They didn’t give Wicked City a chance!
I’m upset it was cancelled! I really think it was a great show and a different time slot definitely would have helped being that abc knew this time slot was bad and still put that show in it. It was doomed from the start. It’s sad! Maybe Netflix, Amazon or Hulu or someone else will pick it up. I am glad I get to see the last episodes and get closure.
