What’s in store for the new season of Young Justice? Recently, creators Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti and character designer Phil Bourassa teased season three of the Warner Bros. TV show.
As reported earlier, the new season (titled “Outsiders) comes nearly four years after the original animated show was cancelled by Cartoon Network in 2013. Season three will continue to follow “teenage superheroes of the DC Universe [as they] come of age in an animated world of superpowers, supervillains and super secrets.”
Speaking to DC Entertainment, Bourassa revealed “a bit of a time jump” for season three of Young Justice. Later, Vietti revealed that the new season will deal with “metahuman trafficking” Weisman then added that Vandal Savage will be back as the series’ main villain.
Season three of Young Justice is slated to premiere on DC’s upcoming streaming platform in 2018.
