NCIS: Los Angeles: Season Five Ratings

ncis los angeles ratingsThis season, NCIS: Los Angeles will pass the 100 episode mark. While overall viewership is still very healthy, the demo ratings have been coming down over that last couple seasons. Will the show survive to see 200 episodes or could it be cancelled before then? We shall see.

NCIS: Los Angeles follows the cases of an elite division of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) that specializes in undercover assignments. This season’s castmembers include Chris O’Donnell, LL Cool J, Daniela Ruah, Eric Christian Olsen, Linda Hunt, Barrett Foa, Renée Felice Smith, and Miguel Ferrer.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

For comparisons: The fourth season of NCIS: Los Angeles averaged a 2.8 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 15.59 million total viewers.

Note: These are the final national numbers (unless noted with an “*”). These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

What do you think? Do you still like the NCIS: Los Angeles TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or be renewed for a sixth season?

To me the new time will hurt the ratings. It should be put back on Tuesday @ it’s regular time. Move NCSI New Orleans to Monday nights.
