As we mentioned here last month, Paul Ruebens is getting ready to revive his Pee-wee Herman character for the stage. It’ll run for 17 days in Hollywood, starting November 8th.
The new production will incorporate elements from both Reubens’ original stage production and Pee-wee’s Playhouse, the Emmy Award-winning children’s show that he did for CBS.
This week, Pee-wee stopped by The Jay Leno Show to talk about his upcoming show. This marks the first time that Reubens has played the character on television for more than a quick cameo in close to 20 years.
Take a look…
What do you think? Does this whet your appetite to see more of Pee-wee Herman? Could a new movie or TV project be far behind?
