It was a very positive start for Revolution. It retained most of the viewers from lead-in The Voice and most watched the entire episode. NBC released the first episode online earlier this month so some people may have watched that and not tuned in to see it on television.

Compared to last year’s timeslot occupant (The Playboy Club), NBC was up by 156% in the demo and 132% in total viewers.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

What do you think? Do you like the Revolution TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?

Revolution is like a lot of other pseudo sci fi action serials. Predictable plots, repetitive staging and action. If the producers has thought to look around first they might have encountered S.M. Stirling’s very excellent Dies the Fire novel series and based their production on that. Now THAT would be television worth seeing!

Please don’t cancel the show. It’s one of my favorites. The story line could go for a long time if you would let it. There is a lot to be told.

Good story line but the casting could have been better. Characters do not seem to be as good as those for Lost.

What a refreshing show with great imagination and thought provoking episodes leaving you wanting more and more each week. Please renew this series as it is so much better than watching another reality show or crime show “already been there/ done it.” This really puts you on your toes and makes you think “what if.” We need more of these shows instead of the same old stuff we have been watching for the last couple of years. I can’t wait for a new episode each week and see how each new character will play out. Please keep REVOLUTION on as it is one of the few shows worth watching these days with a new take on life that could be….enjoy it more and more each week. It’s a different kind of “reality show” that shows what could really happen without electricity and all modern technology. Love it and can’t wait for it to come on each week…..Please give us true entertainment….we need something new and exciting to look forward with great writers with imagination and mystery .
