The Sopranos aired for six seasons on HBO, and one of the stars of the series, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, has now shared the on-going battle she has dealt since the series began to air.
Sigler recently revealed she has Multiple Sclerosis, and she was diagnosed at the age of 20. According to Us Magazine, she revealed the struggles she has experienced since her diagnosis 15 years ago. She said:
“My symptoms are weakness in my right side. I can’t run. It’s so hard for me. I’m not trying to sensationalize this at all, but the very last time I can remember running was the final scene of The Sopranos. That’s literally the last time I can ever remember feeling that freedom in my body.”
Sigler revealed she hid her diagnosis because she feared it would impact her career. Were you a fan of The Sopranos? Did you enjoy Sigler’s work on the series? Tell us what you think.
Thank you for sharing this Jamie-Lynn. A good friend of mine has been living with MS for years and he’s an inspiration as I KNOW YOU ARE!!! God bless you, John Leisenring
