The averages are based on the final national numbers (live plus same day viewing). The demos are typically reported with one decimal place but I’ve included two for more accurate ranking.
Keep in mind that the demo numbers are typically what’s most important to advertisers. Therefore, that’s how the networks measure success. Advertisers pay more for ad time on a show that has a higher demo rating. Because older viewers don’t count? No, it’s because younger viewers watch less traditional TV and are harder to reach.

What do you think? Are you surprised by any of the ratings? Which shows should be doing better?
PARENTHOOD Show,….Very sad to see the ending of a show that possesses a lot of great actors and integrity. I have been following this show from day one and have enjoyed every episode….so sad to see it end. this show put out a lot of actual true life drama and made you feel a part of what was happening in the REAL world. This particular program shows great human feelings and emotions ,….THAT”S… Read more »
What do I think? What are my comments? With several older programs so badly needing to be cancelled because they have lost their sparkle, and the new programs being introduced not being interesting & unique, it makes me wonder WHY ABC STILL ISN’T RENEWING “THE QUEST”? That is one of the most unique programs introduced last summer, and despite the supposed low ratings, ABC would still be wise to give this program another look. RENEW “The Quest” for a Season 2, ABC, and just see if the ratings grow more to your liking – the appeal has already grown on… Read more »
I can’t believe that NCIS LA isn’t doing better in the ratings. Please put it back on it’s original night! And Revenge… stop adding all those new people into the mix.
And THE AMAZING RACE… why aren’t people watching this one? If you can’t travel it’s the next best thing… I love this show. Oh, and kudos to MOM… great comedy, too.
Please renew Resurrection on ABC.
