The averages are based on the final national numbers (live plus same day viewing). The demos are typically reported with one decimal place but I’ve included two for more accurate ranking.
Keep in mind that the demo numbers are typically what’s most important to advertisers. Therefore, that’s how the networks measure success. Advertisers pay more for ad time on a show that has a higher demo rating. Because older viewers don’t count? No, it’s because younger viewers watch less traditional TV and are harder to reach.

Anyone out there keeping up with “Bates Motel?” This is definitely not “Psycho” , but it has several wonderful back stories to a few forefront spotlights.
I’m really sad to see “Hot In Cleveland, ” go off the air and I’m hoping that reruns begin immediately, if not sooner!!!!!! Also, as much as I have truly LOVE “Falling Skies, ” I’m in complete agreement with the ending of this show. It’s been quality television envisioned by Spielberg & Company but how long can the people keep doing the same things. The changes over the years–some good, bad–I’ll miss the show probably most of all. We lost “White Collar” but Carol Burnett/Mary Tyler Moore agreed it’s best to go out on the high notes!!!!!! I think it stinks that stalker was cancelled, the best show on TV, I thought TV was for the viewers and there was such a high demand to bring stalker back, but all requests were ignored. What is that about?
I’m in agreement with you. It was a good and important, informative show. I hope they didn’t cancel “Scorpion.” Anyone know of this show?
