What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, 24: Legacy, is yet another race against the clock to stop a devastating terrorist attack on U.S. soil. Six months prior, in Yemen, Sergeant Eric Carter (Corey Hawkins) and his elite squad of US Army Rangers killed terrorist leader Sheik Ibrahim Bin-Khalid. After the sheik’s followers declared a fatwah, the squad and their families entered the federal witness protection program. A new attempt on Carter’s life makes it clear that his team is now exposed. He enlists Rebecca Ingram (Miranda Otto), a brilliant and ambitious intelligence officer who has stepped down from her post as National Director of CTU. She’s supporting her husband, Senator John Donovan (Jimmy Smits), in his campaign for President of the United States. The rest of the cast includes Teddy Sears, Dan Bucatinsky, Anna Diop, Ashley Thomas, Charlie Hofheimer, Coral Peña, Gerald McRaney, Raphael Acloque, and Sheila Vand.
Season One Ratings

Telly’s Take
24: Legacy premiered over two nights, with the first hour airing directly after Super Bowl LI. This greatly skewed the ratings upwards. Plenty of people just kept watching FOX after the game and the ensuing post-game coverage, or didn’t bother turning off the TV. The second hour, which aired the following night, dropped off sharply, and earned much lower (although still respectable) numbers. Later ratings have been a different story. FOX is truly behind this 24 sequel series but the numbers do not bode well. FOX may renew 24: Legacy for a second season but, based on the ratings, they probably shouldn’t.
5/15 update: 24: Legacy was not renewed by FOX. There will be no season two, for now but it “could” happen in the future. Details here.

I have watched 24 from the very beginning of Jack Bauer days and loved it from day one! This new series – 24 Legacy is just as good!! Love Eric Carter! Would love to see it air for a second season!!!
Please do not cancel this series. I love this show. I previously watched 24 with Keifer Sutherland faithfully and was sad to see it end. I posted this before but spell check spelled Keifers name wrong. AGAIN ” PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL”

I would be up for another season, but it wasn’t 24 hours. the 8:00 start time is a hour too early, and should go off at 9:00PM EST
Hi i’m a big fan of the original serie, and to be frank i wasn’t sure about watching it, nut now i changed my mind, i’m up for a second season
I’m totally up for a second season with Eric Carter! I was doubtful at first about this show without Jack Bauer, but this spin-off proved me wrong, gladly.
Iwas wondering can we live another day without Jack Bauer? Yes, we can.This series was really good, I love the new characters. Please bring it back!
I was the biggest skeptic. I wanted nothing to do with this show without Jack Bauer. But, that being said, the show is very very good and I have definitely changed my mind. Of course having Jack back would make it perfect, but i doubt that will happen. If Fox doesn’t renew, I hope another channel has the good sense to pick it up.
On the down side, too many commercials.

I am almost 70, and I love this show, maybe even more than original. Eric Carter is superb. All the characters are compelling. With so much mediocre television, I hope you have the sense to renew it. It is something that will only grow in popularity.

I like 24 Legacy as much as the original, though I do miss a Chloe-type character. I actually like Corey Hawkins as much as Keifer Sutherland.

The show is one of the best on a local channel. Not Jack Bauer but still interesting. The biggest issue I have is the tooooo numerous commercials that takes away from the show. One hour time wise but maybe 34 minutes of the actual show. So perhaps buying the DVD or taping it with no commercials would actually make watching the series more interesting. The stupid commercials take away from the show!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please renew this show, it’s one of the few network television shows that I watch. Mostly these days, I only watch DVD’s of older shows. But, I love 24 Legacy.
