NBC is going full-on Freaky Friday. Deadline reports the network is developing a new series called 29.

Based on the book by Adena Halpern, the comedy “centers on Ellie Jerome, a young-at-heart 75-year-old who feels she has more in common with her 29-year-old granddaughter, Lucy, than her 55-year-old daughter, Barbara.  When she finds herself confronted with a cake full of candles, Ellie wishes more than anything that she could be twenty-nine again… and gets her wish.”

The McCarthys creator Brian Gallvin is writing the project and will executive produce alongside John Davis and John Fox.
