NBC is sticking with About a Boy, their new sitcom that airs after The Voice on Tuesday nights. The sitcom has been renewed for a second season.
About a Boy revolves around a songwriter (David Walton) who has a big hit that sets him up for life financially. His carefree world is turned upside down when a charming 11-year-old (Benjamin Stockham) and his single mom (Minnie Driver) move in next door.
The comedy has been perfoming well for the network and is currently their highest-rated comedy. It’s also their third-highest rated scripted series overall, falling behind only The Blacklist and Chicago Fire.
What do you think? Do you like this series? Are you glad there’s going to be a second season or do you think it should have been cancelled instead?

So glad to learn About A Boy has been renewed. I really, really like this show. It’s a welcome option to all the crime and science fiction shows. The characters are people one can relate to, the writing is good and so are the actors.
This is the best news ever since it seems like every time I watch a mid-season filler show it gets axed immediately. And this show is actually an uplifting hopeful show, as well as funny.
We love thus feel good show. So happy it has been renewed
