The Alienist is making a big change in casting! The new series is currently filming episodes, and a new actor will take on the role of Teddy Roosevelt on the series.
Deadline reported that Brian Geraghty will now appear in the role on the TNT series. Sean Astin had originally been cast as Teddy Roosevelt, but “scheduling conflicts” forced him to depart the role.
Geraghty has appeared in The Hurt Locker on the big screen, and he was seen as Roman in Chicago PD.

The Alienist is the first series in a long time that is different. The scenes, the acting and the plot is fantastic. Hoping for a next year renewal.
PS: They should bring back Midnight, Texas too.
i read the 2 books and wish there were more. Can’t wait to see the series and see if they stay faithful to Caleb Carrs books
