Shameless scribe, LaToya Morgan, late of Turn: Washington’s Spies, has signed on to pen the second season of the Into the Badlands TV show on AMC. According to Deadline, Morgan has inked a two-year overall deal with AMC, to work on existing shows and develop new series. Morgan previously wrote for the Complications TV series, which was cancelled after one season on USA Network.
The Into the Badlands TV series cast includes: Daniel Wu, Orla Brady, Sarah Bolger, Aramis Knight, Emily Beecham, Oliver Stark, Madeleine Mantock, Ally Ioannides, Marton Csokas, and Benjamin Papac. The second season of this futuristic marital arts drama, created by Al Gough and Miles Millar, should premiere on AMC in 2017.
