The ratings for season three of Bates Motel were way down but a fourth season renewal is coming “soon”, according to executive producer Kerry Ehrin.
When asked when the A&E series would be renewed, Ehrin responded, “In my head it was announced 2 months ago. I am told will be soon.” She also noted that series star Freddie Highmore would be writing a fourth season episode.
The third season concluded om May 11th. The 10 episodes averaged a 0.743 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.8 million viewers. Season-to-season, that’s down by about 22%.

I absolutely love this series! I definitely hope they renew and continue after season 4. I hate to see the season finale when it comes and can’t wait for the next season when they announced its going to start.
Totally renew, and no just for season four. This show is amazing, the cast is pretty espectacular! I haven’t seen such perfection in a shoe for a very very long time.
I loves Bates Motel. I’m always wanting more. I look forward to watching this show every week. Please bring on Season 4. I was so anxious for Season 3 to come. There should be more then 10 episodes. Keep this show coming. Even my husband looks forward to watching this with me every week. We has a date night every week to watch this.

I hope to God they renew the show. Bates is easily one of the best shows on tv at t his time. It deserves at least 4 or 5 more seasons to start.

Best show ever, would be a crime, not to bring back Bates Motel!
Renew, I enjoy the show. The extraneous story lines could be improved on, the drug business, the involvement of the entire town, it needs something to boost the credibility. Political involvement is believable but the employment of the entire town for decades with the feds just looking in now never made a lot of sense. Perhaps a smaller scale operation, fewer deaths or something.
Pleeease renew for season 4!! I would be devastated if it didn’t. I actually just recently started watching and then BINGED watched season 1 & 2. Needless to say, i am completely addicted now! I hope the show continues for seasons (plural) to come. MORE MORE BATES MOTEL, I am in love with the acting of Vera and Freddie. I can barely wait and i am very interested to see what Freddie has to write for an EP for the show.
