TV show description:
A drama, this TV series revolves around two mismatched law enforcement officers. They have polar opposite views of the world and (possibly) a grudging respect for each other’s abilities as they clean up the streets of Battle Creek, Michigan.
Detective Russ Agnew (Dean Winters) is a good but gruff and hard-boiled detective. He’s had his world turned upside down when strikingly handsome and charismatic Special Agent Milton Chamberlain (Josh Duhamel) opens an FBI field office at the police station — and he chooses Russ to be his partner.
Milt’s polished sophistication and access to unlimited state-of-the-art equipment is impressive to his new co-workers in the absurdly underfunded department.
The pair work long hours together in the economically distressed city and it remains to be seen if Milt’s charm and endless supply of high-end resources or Russ’s old-fashioned cynicism, guile and deception will be the keys to catching the bad guys.
Other characters include Commander Guziewicz (Janet McTeer), Detective Fontanelle White (Kal Penn), Holly Dale (Aubrey Dollar), and Aaron Funkhauser (Edward Fordham, Jr.).
Episode #13 — Sympathy for the Devil
Milt survives a car bombing and enlists Russ to track down his would-be assassin, leading to startling revelations as to why Milt is the way he is and what brought him to Battle Creek.

I feel the show very well done, enjoyed the difference between the main actors. Very funny.
It would great to see another.season,. My wife and I look forward to this show each week and were shock to hear it was cancelled. We would love to see this show renewed. So we can enjoy season 2. Please consider our request to bring this show back.

Really enjoyed Battle Creek. No idea why they cancelled it. Was refreshing to watch a show with humour, good acting, decent stories and humour! My husband and I would love Love to see it come back for season 2.
this show just got better and better with each episode maturing into a quality program that we looked forward to each week.
Canceling this show is a serious miscalculation.
Heck yes, this was a great show. And one of the few good shows on this network and on a Sunday. Please bring it back.
I will miss both Battle Creek and Stalker. My two favorite new shows of the season. Clever and well written.
Really enjoyed this show, it was quick witted, smart and funny. Seems they cxl shows that have substance vs dim witted reality shows.

This is another show we fell right in love with as well as the characters! I don’t think many people know about it, yet? It feels like it’s over before it even started!

Yes it definitely should have had more time. The writing and the characters were fantastic. Everybody on the show was different from anyone on T.V. Different and interesting. Dean Winters and Josh Duhamel were terrific. It was funny and exciting and each episode had a great story line. My whole family is upset about the cancellation. It became a favorite of all of us immediately. It ran from March to May. That’s way too short for people to hear about a show and learn that it is one of the best on T.V. I loved the show and for several weeks, it was late coming on because of a game. They sure did not preempt ” The Good Wife” . It did need more time. I was really getting into the characters and love Dean Winters
I loved Battle Creek, give it another season, it’s a show like Grimm. Take some time to catch on.
Maybe the show should have been called CSI:Battle Creek and it would have been given a chance.
This show was clever and Russ Agnew was one of the most compelling characters on TV in a while. This show deserved a better time slot and some patience to develop an audience.
They pulled the cord on this far too soon. It was smart and funny, far better than most of the shows on TV. The acting on CSI: Cyber and NCIS New Orleans is cloyingly over the top and canned, yet those two survived, it just doesn’t make sence. They needed to give this more time, better time slot and more promotion and this would have been a hit. What brain dead exec do they have making these choices. The characters were well formed and the acting was clearly better than any new show from this last season on CBS.
This show is awesome, please bring it back! Give it a chance with a better time slot! Please!!
