TV show description:
A drama, this TV series revolves around two mismatched law enforcement officers. They have polar opposite views of the world and (possibly) a grudging respect for each other’s abilities as they clean up the streets of Battle Creek, Michigan.
Detective Russ Agnew (Dean Winters) is a good but gruff and hard-boiled detective. He’s had his world turned upside down when strikingly handsome and charismatic Special Agent Milton Chamberlain (Josh Duhamel) opens an FBI field office at the police station — and he chooses Russ to be his partner.
Milt’s polished sophistication and access to unlimited state-of-the-art equipment is impressive to his new co-workers in the absurdly underfunded department.
The pair work long hours together in the economically distressed city and it remains to be seen if Milt’s charm and endless supply of high-end resources or Russ’s old-fashioned cynicism, guile and deception will be the keys to catching the bad guys.
Other characters include Commander Guziewicz (Janet McTeer), Detective Fontanelle White (Kal Penn), Holly Dale (Aubrey Dollar), and Aaron Funkhauser (Edward Fordham, Jr.).
Episode #13 — Sympathy for the Devil
Milt survives a car bombing and enlists Russ to track down his would-be assassin, leading to startling revelations as to why Milt is the way he is and what brought him to Battle Creek.

This was a really entertaining show with great acting and, here’s a shocker, it was clean. The family could watch it together, not like so much of the drivel out there. Bring it back, promote it, and save us from CSI reruns.
People! Why are you sitting here crying about the demise of one of the best shows to show up for many years?! DO something! It was officially cancelled during the first week of May and you’re still on this site complaining? DO something! If you really loved it you’d be burying CBS in letters! DO SOMETHING that might convince them to change their small minds!

A great show that was never missed. Creative writing and acting that complimented each other. You really need to bring this show back.
I agree with all of the above comments. Great show: clean, witty, was one of the few I looked forward to watching every week. Just like Breaking Bad had a slow start and then exploded to my first favorite show, BATTLE CREEK should be renewed…..keep the writers, the actors, and great story lines. The season finale was gripping.
What person decided to cancel this show! It was unique! The characters were great and you weren’t even close to being finished. I want to see them back. I made sure it was recorded in case I missed it. This was a poor move on your part.

I want to see Battle Creek renewed. One of my favorite new shows. I really wanted to see where the characters were going. Very very disappointed.
We loved the show. Just found out it was cancelled and are very disappointed. Is there any chance for it to be revived? The finale left room for Milt to survive the gunshot, let’s hope the network ( or whoever makes such decisions) see the error of their ways and schedules another season…..or maybe a summer replacement series. Hate that it might not be back!!

Battlecreek was the best show I’ve seen in a long time. I adored the lead characters and how they played off each other. It should be renewed.
One of our favorite shows, why don’t they try it on another time slot. Enough of reality shows.
