Will you miss Bless This Mess? The cast and creators of the ABC TV show have posted their reactions to the series’ cancellation.
The sitcom series follows young newlyweds Mike and Rio Levine-Young (Dax Shepard and Lake Bell) who give up their lives in New York City to run a farm in Nebraska that Mike’s great-aunt left to him. The cast also includes Ed Begley Jr., Pam Grier, JT Neal, David Koechner, and Madison Curry.
As reported earlier, ABC has cancelled Bless This Mess after two seasons. Creators Liz Meriwether and Lake Bell posted their goodbyes to the series on social media alongside farewell messages from cast members Dax Shepard and JT Neal:

Speaking for my family, yes we all would watch a season 3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and so on!
I’m VERY upset that we won’t get more of Bless This Mess! Its a very cute show that let’s you just relax and watch it. It always makes me smile no matter the kind d of day I’ve had and the characters are all amazing! Why is it that we have to choose between ANOTHER doctor/hospital or police/law enforcement show or maybe, even worse, another REALITY show? Aw I just got into Bless This Mess and have told all my people to watch it too. I loved how light-hearted the show was. I have been binge watching the last few weeks and am so sad the story won’t continue!! I loved how this show basically made fun of all political parties, agendas, everything… it wasn’t pushing a point, just a laid-back happy show. I vote to re-consider and bring back a 3rd season!!
This show was so funny! We will really miss it! We need comedies – right now especially! Please bring it back!!

I am so disappointed that Bless This Mess has been cancelled. I was looking for a comedy that could take the place of The Middle, which I adored, and Bless This Mess came close. I love Lake Bell and I loved all the characters on this show. I will miss it.
I’m rewatching season 1 and 2 right now on Hulu and just thought I’d check on season 3 only to discover you canceled it! I am so disappointed. It is my favorite sitcom of all time. Please consider reconsider
Stop canceling great shows! I am beyond disappointed (like most years) You always manage to cancel really great shows. Stop changing your dang lineups as fast as you do your underware! You just messed up…Bless your hearts.
I am SO DISSAPOINTED to hear they canceled the BEST new show on TV ! It was funny, loved the cast and think ABC made the worst decision ever to cancel ! Hope another channel picks it up !! Love all on Bless This Mess !! Thanks for the laughs !! ABC needs a reality check!

You have now taken away the only smart sitcom left on ABC. Simply look at the ratings of your competitor – The Connors – whose ratings soared once Rosanne got a legitimate boot. Progressive, intelligent, comedic relief is being stiffled in the face of tv exec’ decisions that clearly pander to the unfortunate, dumbed-down viewers who prefer Kardashians over smart, forward thinking characters. Wake up or go away.

Bless this mess was the best show ever. Why cancel the only funny show left on tv. It was my favorite.
This show actually made me laugh out loud that is hard to do at home watching a sitcom on television – same thing with Modern Family – loved both those shows – and Bless This Mess was just a baby – speaking of babies – they were expecting a baby at the finale show… NOOOOO.. Please bring this wonderful hilarious beautiful show back.
