Airing after The Voice on Monday nights, The Blacklist became a hit TV show for NBC. The network is hoping that history will repeat itself and Blindspot will also be a ratings success. Will it be a hit or a flop? Cancelled or renewed for a second season? Stay tuned!
On Blindspot, a Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) is found inside a body bag that’s been left in Times Square. It’s marked for the attention of the FBI. Suspecting a bomb, the agents are shocked to see Jane emerge naked and covered with complex tattoos. Having no memory and having no records of her existence, the tattoos provide the only clues as to the woman’s identity. Supervising Agent Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) is brought in and is shocked to find his name inked on her back. The rest of the cast includes Audrey Esparza, Rob Brown, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Ukweli Roach, and Ashley Johnson.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
11/9 update: NBC has renewed Blindspot for a second season.
5/24 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
Note: Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Blindspot TV series? Should it be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
That biggot down there is wrong. So wtong in every word that came out of his mouth. Is that my racist grandma incognito? Haha wtf shes the only person ive heard be so blatantly hateful to people who have done nothing to u. Misery LOOOVES ITS COMPANY I guess…. Ugh. Spreading the hate is….. Despicable. If u HAD morals you would CHOOSE TO SPREAD LOVE.
I agree with the comment. As soon as a gay relationship is forced into a TV show or movie, I’m done. I just have no interest in watching that.
I personally enjoy blindspot. I also liked Blacklist, however I must agree that Blindspot “hits the spot” a little better the plot is more enthralling and mysterious. I cannot wait for it to continue in January. However the time of the show is not best 4 me so I must stream it on the app afterwards.
Have to admit I liked the show more in the beginning. It started to get a little repetitious recently. And, it’s ludicrous to think that the FBI would allow a non-agent to go along on crucial jobs with a gun yet, but, it’s a tv show not real life. That said, I still like the show overall.
New it had to rear its ugly head. Gotta have a gay or lesbian couple in every freakin’ show to further the agenda. That’s it for me. Oh well, wasn’t a very well done show anyway.
The world is full of lesbian and gay couples, but you can keep your eyes closed, if you want to. And blame tv show for being realistic.
1%-2% of total population. Not 10% as they like to try to say. A couple in every show is not realistic. One couple in 10% of shows would be realistic.
There are a lot more gays than you might think if only you look.
When she’s not working on the show, what happens to the tattoo’s. How do they consistently get the same configurations when make-up is re-applied! Interesting format nonetheless.
I love this show!!!
I love the show can’t wait to see what happens hoping for a 2nd season
Music too loud, so difficult to hear dialogue. Please cut music down, enjoy the series if I could hear it.
I would enjoy the show more if the jerky, home video-amazing race type visual close ups would stop. It is so bumpy and distracting I find myself on the pc and listening rather than watching the show.
I absolutely love it. I’ve seen every season of almost every other show involving criminology, castle, bones, law & order original, svu, and criminal intent, NCIS original, LA, and New Orleans, criminal minds, CSI ny etc. I’ve seen them all and it’s not the same as the others. And it’s not boring at all, anyone who thinks it is boring or sucks it’s fine they can think that don’t like it? Don’t watch it no need for them to cancel it when there are people who do like it. And by the way to person who spelled it Shirley. Shirley… Read more »

I agree with you
This show mixes a former role, by Jamie Alexander, as Jessi Hollander (of Kyle XY), where she arrives on the scene with no memory of her life, and mixes it with a bit of Blacklist flavor a la Raymond Reddington, holding secrets to crimes yet to be committed.
Overall, a terrible lack of imagination. But, it does fulfill NBC’s agenda to show that women can kick the butt of any guy twice their size. And, of course, they get a 2-fer with a black woman in charge of that FBI unit.
Listen up, folks, and let’s be properly indoctrinated.
You need to eliminate the background music cannot always hear what they are saying the show is good, quite the background noise so we can hear the show!
Shirley these writers can come up with something better than what they have been, the blind spot should be called dead spot your brain has two be to watch it, to me it is a complete turnoff
Surely*
I’m surprised the ratings have held, This show is ridiculous, the writing is all over the place and by the second episode they just turned it into every other police procedural out there but without a soul.
is better than the new ones It goes and shows you again the one that thay cancel our lot better than the new ones
Agree
very boring. not much different from other catch cririminal show.
