TV show description:
This soap opera follows a young couple as they move to Williston, North Dakota in order to seek their fortune. It’s said that a millionaire is made every day in this town that’s been booming since the discovery of a huge oil reserve.
Tycoon Hap Briggs (Don Johnson) is a typical oil drilling Barron and a force to be reckoned with. In contrast to Briggs’ self-made image is his socialite wife, Carla (Amber Valletta), who is forever jetting off to the city.
Confronted with his legacy, he is riled by his heavy drinking college dropout son, Wick (Scott Michael Foster), who’s sense of entitlement makes him an undeserving heir.
Meanwhile, Billy (Chace Crawford) and Cody LeFever (Rebecca Rittenhouse) are pursuing the American dream. They’re determined to succeed in a place that’s reminiscent of a frontier town during the gold rush — there are rowdy bars and no shortage of men easily making and parting with money.
Hap takes Billy under his wing with Billy’s drive and commitment reminding Hap of himself as a young man. Seeing someone take his place causes Wick to lose control and he embarks on a vicious campaign of hatred against those who he believes have wronged him.
Episode #10 — Departures
Christmas is a time for coming together, but for the Lefevers, it’s a time of difficult choices. Billy faces an ultimatum to either save his marriage by leaving Rock Springs forever or to stay in the oil game alone while Cody experiences temptation in the form of another man. With the Black Elks land deal slipping away, Annie and Hap consider doing the unthinkable – joining forces to help secure this once-in-a-lifetime oil acquisition. Fearing the fate of his son, AJ enlists Tip to help bring the child to safety. And finally, another father-and-son relationship is pushed to its limits when Hap and Wick finally lay it all out on the table at the Briggs Christmas Eve gathering.
First aired: December 10, 2015.
What do you think? Do you like the Blood & Oil TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Great Show!
Do not cancel.A great show.

I agree with Dottie.
renew this show
this show was great, Dallas was taken off the air. I was mad about that, so when blood and oil came along, I thought ok good, now you taken it off the air. why all the good shows are being taken away, Magic City, Longmire, Dallas, but keep shows like the living dead. which should have been gone.
The show was great to me I really wanted to see were it was going .
I loved the show Blood and Oil. Why is it cancelled? Any chance of it coming back?
Why was the show Blood and Oil cancelled. I loved it.
we loved the show blood and oil, I cant understand how it couldn’t have been renewed !!! VERY disappointed in Florida .
Too Bad, We really liked this series. It was fun to watch, something new and refreshing other then the reality shows and other much worse shows. Something to look forward to watching.
The American public doesn’t have the attention span to follow an excellent show like Blood and Oil. The networks have to put on brain dead shows like Two Broke Girls or Family Feud to get ratings. Unfortunately you are witnessing the dumbing down of America. Very sad.
So true !!!
I liked the show and think it should be renewed without a doubt!!
I like this show a lot! please don’t cancel it
I’m shocked to hear it was cancelled! Maybe it needed to be another overblown reality show! Real idiots of Alaska….
