Chicago Justice will premiere on NBC at midseason, but fans will see members of the cast from the new series pop up again before that. With Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago PD premiering their new seasons in the fall, Dick Wolf and his writers will have plenty of chances to put the Chicago Justice crew in front of the viewers.
There are plans to show off Philip Winchester and his cast in episodes of the other series before the midseason launch of Chicago Justice.
Matt Olmstead teased the following about the plans to The Hollywood Reporter:
“Yeah, for sure, we don’t know the exact specifics but I was talking to Dick about it and we definitely want to use whatever episodes we have on the other shows before Justice airs to help platform. And it’s not even that formal of an approach, it’s just to kind of get to know ’em. They drop in for a Molly’s scene or maybe there would be a couple-episode arc, but more it’s just to show them in that universe so that when that show launches, the audience knows them that much better.”
After Chicago Justice premieres, Dick Wolf has already teased the possibility of a fifth series in the franchise.

Big fan of the Chicago series. Can’t wait to see Jon Seda in his new role. BIG fan of his. Terrific.
Im a Chicago series fan and can’t wait to see it.
I will definitely watch! I am a fan of Chicago PD, Chicago Med and Chicago Fire. I cannot wait for this to come out!
that is a big maybe. It would have been nice to have a star from the tv show Law and Order
I love shows like this one and looking forward too seeing another Dick Wolfe series. And they have a great cast
No WAY! It’s getting ridiculous now. Fire and PD were enough. Too much of a good thing waters down the entire product.
I loved Philip Winchester in Strike Back. His character on Strike Back was Michael Stonebridge. His character on Chicago Justice is Peter Stone. I just thought it a bit ironic the same-ish last name. Can’t wait to watch him in this. I love all the Chicago shows and like the interspersing of characters within the shows.
