Chicago Justice is the latest addition to the Chicago family of shows on NBC, and one of the stars of the drama is already looking ahead to the second season – even though the network has not yet renewed the series yet for season two.
Joelle Carter spoke with the Hollywood Reporter about the new NBC series, and she shared what she would like to see happen with her character next season. She said the following:
“I would like to see something happen with the existing relationship that she’s in as far as her ex-husband and dive into that a little bit more since it affects her job. Not necessarily that they get back together, because there’s so many complications in that.”
She is hoping that the series has a future, and she wants to stay with it. She said:
“This particular role and TV show will give me the opportunity to maybe pick and choose more stuff that I want to do in my downtime.”

I like the characters and story lines in this show. It has become our favorite show. How could it not be renewed??
Without a doubt. I been watching it since it started. Definitely in my Top 5. This, PD, Med, Law&Order SVU And Shades Of Blue is All I care to watch. Nothing else. Want them all for another season.
I hope that this show will be renewed for Season Two as well as the other 3 Dick Wolf’s Chicago shows. I like that the episodes of all 4 Chicago shows use the characters from all Chicago shows in their stories and the actors and writers are good. Since the ratings are low on this particular Chicago show, it might be better to move it to another night, preferably after one of the other Chicago series. Please give this one a chance to develop.
I think Chicago Justice should be renewed for season 2. It’s a great show just like Dick Wolf’s other 3 Chicago shows. The writing, and actors are wonderful. Also, each episode depicts stories that occur all over the country. The audience can relate to them whether by reading the news or by personal experience. Please don’t cancel this program.

I, sincerely, hope the network keeps this program going. It is, along with three other ‘Chicago’ based shows, well acted and very interesting. I love the characters and the people playing them. Intriguing storylines keep me guessing most of the time. So, fingers crossed we get to see more.
The show did a 0.9 last week, which was horrendous. What will it do this week? No Chicago show ever went that low in its first season. MED did it 2 weeks ago and did a 1.0 last week. Maybe the magic is disappearing.
Chicago Justice is really good ! It is very well written and beautifully acted. It should be renewed and moved to a better night than Sunday. That will give the show a much better chance to build a bigger audience.
